Cagliliog Beach Resort is a peaceful and relaxing place found in Brgy. Cagliliog, Tinambac, Camarines Sur. It is known for its soft sand, clear blue water, and beautiful sunset views. The entrance fee is very affordable, usually around ₱100 per person. There are native-style cottages made of wood and bamboo that you can rent for the day or for overnight stays. Some cottages are simple and open-air, while others have more features like fans, grills, private bathrooms, or even air-conditioning and videoke. The road going to the beach is not fully cemented, and cellphone signal can be weak, but many visitors say it’s worth it because the place is peaceful and clean.

My most exciting and memorable experience as a tourist was when I visited Cagliliog Beach Resort. It was in April 2023, during the summer season in Bicol. My family planned to go to the beach to enjoy our vacation while it was still school break. My cousin and I searched on social media for the best beach near Naga City, and that’s when we found Cagliliog Beach. We were amazed by the white sand and the breathtaking view of the sunset. After seeing the pictures and reading good reviews, we decided to reserve a cottage at the resort. Since it was summer, many people had already booked their stay, but we were lucky enough to secure a spot. That moment made us even more excited for our trip.

When we arrived at Cagliliog Beach Resort, I came at exactly 12 noon. We rented a small open cottage near the shoreline with one room and a karaoke. The breeze was cool, and I could hear the soft sound of waves hitting the sand. We ate first because we are already starving from the long drive, and it's quite a hard trip since the road is not yet fully cemented. After eating, we enjoyed the water of the beach. We rest for a while then, we came back before the sunset. I took off my slippers and walked barefoot along the beach while watching the sky slowly change its colors, from light blue to orange, pink, and purple. It was such a peaceful moment for me and my family, we also took a picture to capture the moment and of course post it on social media. Later that night, I stayed in the cottage, lying down and looking at the stars. There were no loud noises or bright lights, only the sound of the sea. Me and my friends bond and had a drinks by the shore, we also played beach volleyball since it is available in the resort, you just need to rent out the ball. It was a simple trip with no fancy hotel or big meals, but it felt very special and calming. I left the next day feeling happy, refreshed, and thankful for the quiet beauty of the place.
